A missing mention can have several explanations: the question may not fit your product, relevant sources may be unavailable, competing pages may explain the use case better, or the answer may simply vary. Start with evidence before rewriting the site.

Record a useful baseline

Choose questions from sales calls and customer research. Include the use case, company type, important integration and market when relevant. Save the prompt wording, model, date, answer and sources. Repeat the checks before treating a difference as a pattern.

Inspect the page closest to the decision

A homepage explains the category. A feature page should explain the job it does. Pricing clarifies limits. An integration page should distinguish native support from an API or manual workaround. Comparison pages should represent alternatives fairly.

Questions a SaaS buyer needs answered

  • What does the product do for a team like ours?
  • Which integrations and workflows are supported?
  • What is included in our plan, and what costs extra?
  • Who configures the product and how do we publish changes?
  • What evidence can we inspect before buying?
  • What are the limitations and cancellation terms?

Use the audit to prepare a specific change

RiseChat brings content findings and proposed changes into the page audit. Review a missing answer against your product documentation, then publish the approved text through your CMS. An audit finding suggests work to investigate; it does not expose a model’s private selection criteria.

For example, replace “connects your entire stack” with a verified list of supported integrations, setup requirements and limits. This helps buyers assess fit even if an AI platform has not yet used the updated page.

Keep search fundamentals and structured data aligned

Check accessibility, indexing and visible product information. Schema should describe those facts accurately. Google does not require special Schema or llms.txt for AI search; see its guidance. Use optional context files only where useful to supported tools.

Compare repeated checks after publication

Record the publication date and preserve your prompt set. RiseChat runs scheduled checks every 48 hours on the models included in your plan. Compare mentions, citations and source changes over several weeks without promising a fixed time to visibility.

Measure qualified demos, trial activation and paid conversion separately. If visibility improves but business outcomes do not, review the questions you chose, the offer and the conversion path.
